Our Story
Built on Trust. Driven by People.
Pellicano Construction has grown from an Albany-founded builder into a regional construction management partner serving clients across multiple industries.
They didn’t just build projects. They built trust.
Tony and Lucy Pellicano didn’t set out to build the biggest construction company in the Southeast. They set out to build something far more lasting—a company grounded in integrity, hard work, and a commitment to the people they served. In the early days, the work was simple, the resources were limited, and the stakes were high. Projects like the Dougherty County Jail renovation and the Welcome Center at Georgia Veterans State Park helped establish more than a portfolio—they established trust. Trust that Pellicano would show up, follow through, and do the work the right way. That foundation still defines the company today.

Pellicano's leadership team combines deep operational knowledge, healthcare expertise, field leadership, and long-standing client relationships across the Southeast.

Founded in trust and long-term partnership.
Tony Pellicano founded Pellicano Construction in 1976 in Albany, Georgia. Early work included the renovation of the Old Dougherty County Jail and the Georgia Veterans State Park Welcome Center, building a foundation for decades of client relationships.

A company built by family.
From the beginning, Pellicano has been a family business in both name and practice. Its values were lived long before they were written down: work hard, treat people right, and stand behind what you build. Over time, that foundation grew beyond the Pellicano family to include leaders and team members who share the same convictions. Today, under the leadership of President and CEO Stephen Dew, alongside Brandy Pellicano Dew, Pellicano Construction continues its next chapter with both continuity and growth—rooted in its legacy while expanding across the Southeast.

Diversified growth across the Southeast.
Through the 1980s and beyond, Pellicano expanded across corporate, commercial, faith-based, hospitality, industrial, retail, and healthcare sectors, serving clients such as Synovus, Merck, Grainger, and Cooper Tire.

A commitment to grow with purpose.
Pellicano’s growth has never been driven by volume alone. It has been guided by relationships, opportunities to serve, and a commitment to doing the work well. With offices in Albany, Athens, Atlanta, and Macon, Pellicano continues to offer complete construction management services in 21 states, bringing preconstruction expertise, field leadership, and program-level thinking to every engagement. Each office carries Pellicano’s approach forward through local knowledge, consistent leadership, strong client partnerships, and deep investment in the communities where projects take place. Across healthcare, automotive, commercial, industrial, and faith-based construction, the focus remains the same: deliver excellent work and build relationships that last.
